Do you know the feeling of feeling helpless when the people around you are not unwell or your loved ones are experiencing physical or mental suffering that can only be alleviated to a certain extent? Or we may suffer ourselves and allow difficult situations easily to overwhelm us.
But if you take a closer look, we see that the overwhelming feeling of helplessness and discouragement arises from the belief that we ourselves cannot bring about any improvements to those difficult circumstances. However, Buddha explained that a complete solution to physical and mental suffering can only come from healing our minds within. He taught the powerful and transformative meditation practice of taking and giving, which has been practiced in Tibet for hundreds of years.
In this retreat, Gen Devi introduces us to this profound meditation practice and gives us a tool how we can empower ourselves and others in our everyday lives through compassion in order to overcome any obstacles or problems.
